November Education Session___________________________________________
Next up in November: January 2017 Rate Change
Presented by: Dr. Janet Lockhart-Jones, Pitney Bowes
The U.S. Postal Service has filed its proposed January 2017 Rate Change proposal with the Postal Regulatory Commission. If approved, it’s not just rates that will change. Products are getting new names, commercial mailers of First-Class letters one to three ounces in weight will have new opportunities, and of course the 2017 USPS Promotions are the best ever! Do you also know that, if approved, there will be three cents savings off the price of a stamp for those mailers who use a Postage Meter, PC/online postage or a Permit Imprint to mail First Class Mail letters? The savings have never been greater! Attend this meeting to learn about all of the proposed rate and product name change details, what opportunities exist to save your organization money, and what you may need to do to comply with new regulatory requirements. Don’t miss this session! Bring your co-workers and others who need to know even if they are not a current PCC member.
